Li Yuan  is an independent Supervisor of the Company.

Mr Li graduated from Economic major of Renmin University r and holds a college degree. He has been the Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Department of Petroleum Industry Ministry, the Chief of General Office Economic Group, Administration Restructuring Director of Research Office for Restructuring Political System, the Director of Distribution Department of the State Commission for Restructuring the Economic Systems, the Deputy Director of Bureau of Land Resource, and Deputy Minister of Land Resource Ministry and Deputy General Supervisor of Land Resource. He is current the Deputy Director of the eleventh CPCC Committee of Population, Resources and Environment. He became an independent Supervisor of the Company since May 2008.
