Wang Yilin is a Director of the Company and a Deputy General Manager of CNPC.

Mr Wang is a senior engineer and holds a doctorate’s degree. He has nearly 25 years of working experience in China's oil and gas industry. He was appointed as the President of the Xinjiang Oilfield Branch of the Company since September 1999. From July 2003 onwards, he was appointed as the Assistant to the General Manager of CNPC and the Senior Executive of Xinjiang Petroleum Administration Bureau and the President of the Xinjiang Oilfield Branch of the Company concurrently. Since December 2003, he was appointed as the Deputy General Manager of CNPC, the Senior Executive of Xinjiang Petroleum Administration Bureau and the President of the Xinjiang Oilfield Branch of the Company. From July 2004 to July 2007, he has also worked as the Safety Director of CNPC. He has been appointed a Director of the Company since November 2005.
